Eden's Bartender of the Year 2023
Put your skills and talent to the test on April 11th and 12th, 2023 at 5-star Superior Green Spa Hotel MalisGarten in the wonderful Zillertal: we are giving you the chance to show how special your job really is! Convince the top-class jury and use your creativity, knowledge, and speed to take home the victory in the exclusive ambiance of the EdenBar. The award-winning drink will be listed as "Taste of Green Paradise: Eden’s Drink of the Year 2023" on our bar menu – maybe with your name!
The requirement is that you have completed professional training and have at least 2 years of professional experience in a bar. The preselection is based on the qualifications of all applicants, and the best candidates will be invited to Zell am Ziller, where they will have the chance to win the award and the title of "Eden’s Bartender of the Year 2023". Accommodations and meals are provided.

The contest will be moderated by our chef de bar Alexander Morgenstern, who has been active in the world of beverage sensor technology and history for many years. The top-class jury consists of 5 big names: Jürgen Deibel, Carole Rohrmoser-Stein, Suwi Zlatic, Andi Hotter, Rupert Paar.
The contest begins with a written test and questions about your profession: if you master the entry challenge, you will be one of the 3 finalists who compete against each other on the 2nd day. On the 2nd day, the bartenders will create their own personal drink with a green ingredient they select from the herb garden. Afterwards, the contestants compete against one another in a knowledge match in front of an audience: who will win the quiz? The last discipline focuses on precision and trust in your own capabilities: after a blind tasting, the candidates will recreate the drink they tasted.
