Culture at the Salettl
with the Rainer Quartett
An evening of Zillertal music and local food
6 November 2026 | 7 pm | MalisGarten Green Spa Hotel | Zell am Ziller
Traditional songs, old Rainer melodies and the stories behind them: the Rainer Quartett brings the musical heritage of the Zillertal to the Salettl. Enjoy songs from Tyrol and the Zillertal, readings of Franz Gruber's dialect texts and instrumental interludes with Michael Mitterdorfer on accordion, guitar and contraguitar.
We'll be serving a three-course menu from the MalisGarten kitchen, with time between performances to savour each course and enjoy good conversation in a relaxed, intimate setting.
Whether you live nearby or are visiting the Zillertal for a short break, we'd love to welcome you. And if you'd like to linger after the final song, make a night of it with a stay at MalisGarten.
Songs will be performed in German and Tyrolean dialect; stories and readings will also be in German or dialect.
An evening of song and storytelling
Four voices bring the Zillertal's musical heritage to life: Silvia Hotter, Maria Kröll, Franz Erler and Johann Rainer share a love of traditional songs from Tyrol and the Zillertal. At the Salettl, enjoy traditional favourites and historic Rainer songs, and discover the stories and meaning behind them.
Readings of Franz Gruber's dialect texts celebrate the local language, while Michael Mitterdorfer complements the singing with accordion, guitar and contraguitar.
Musical performances and storytelling are interspersed with three courses from the Wilde Kräuterküche, leaving time to listen, savour each dish and enjoy good conversation.
Three courses, with music in between

About Evelyne Battisti
and why she feels at home at MalisGarten
Incense burning has been part of Evelyne Battisti's life since childhood. Since 1997, she has continued to deepen her knowledge of herbs, resins and incense traditions. She creates her own incense blends, gathers local resins and harvests many of her herbs from her own garden. Her passion is to keep traditional knowledge alive and share the joy of burning incense.
At MalisGarten, we share Evelyne's connection to nature and her appreciation for age-old traditions and knowledge passed down through generations. Wood defines our architecture, while herbs and mindful approach run through the guest experience, from the garden and kitchen to he Herbarium Spa. With Evelyne, we invite our guests o discover another dimension of this botanical world: the fragrances released as incense burns, the stories behind them and the pleasure of nature's soothing gifts.
We look forward to welcoming you!
